The Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library will host this informative and entertaining traveling exhibition and Inkwood will handle book sales and signings at exciting related programs. Today's events are SHARON ROBINSON's memories of her life with her legendary father Jackie Robinson at 2, and KADIR NELSON’s discussion of illustrating his beautiful book WE ARE THE SHIP (an Inkwood favorite along with many of his stunning picture books celebrating black athletes, dancers, and more) at 3. Inkwood will be there with books for purchase, and the authors will autograph following their talks.

The exhibition was organized by the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum and the American Library Association Public Programs Office, and was made possible by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities: great ideas brought to life. For more details, click here.
